About Wiggle Radio

Wiggle Radio was founded in November 2007 by myself; Ryan Walker from North Shields aged 17. Wiggle Radio is an online radio for young people, aged 11 to 19.

Having worked on various radio projects across north Tyneside I wanted to do better; So I set up a radio station for young people across the north east of England, UK. We are now working in connection with “passionate people, passionate places”; North East England Campaign.

Through the radio I aim to support local young talent by providing help, advice and connections with organisations that can propel young people forward. This website is for the community of Wiggle Radio listeners and their mates, providing local news, events and blogs.
